This page points you to sources of advice and help with your society's money.

If you are looking for advice on personal finance, head to the SU's Advice Pages on money (from the Advice Centre).

• Managing Your Money The Managing Your Money SSE Training Course for Sports Club and Society Executives. It is compulsory that at least one member of your exec (generally your Treasurer) does this course. However, it contains a lot of useful information which makes it a handy read for anyone who is on an exec. It's also online throughout the year so that you can refer back to it as often as you need to!
• Budgets and the budgeting process Information on the budget forms and the budget application process. The submission deadline for budgets for 2012/13 is Friday Week 1 Term 3. If you have any questions or queries, email the Societies Officer.
• Financial Forms Any forms you might need for your society finances (Money Request, Sales Invoice Requisition etc.) can be downloaded from here. If you need help with these forms pop to the Managing Your Money Forms Page.
• Charity Collections Information on doing a charity collection through your society. If you intend to do a collection then make sure you read this information carefully to ensure you're covered legally.
• Sponsorship Information on sponsorship - advice on writing a pack, who can help and more!
• Society Funding Information on funding streams for societies, including the Emergency Fund, Project Fund, Lord Rootes Fund and approaching external funds for support.
• Finance Web Use the above link to access the Finance Web, where you have an overview of your society's finances. Please note the link will only be visible if you are logged in to the website!
