After a triumphant year which has seen the likes of Techno Fan, 1996, Anti-D and Tokyo (Vampires & Wolves) become national festival anthems sitting perfectly alongside classic hits such as Let’s Dance To Joy Division and Kill the Director, Liverpool’s finest The Wombats will play at Warwick University, Coventry in February 2012 as part of a short UK tour.

It's not many bands who boast a sound that can be called completely their own, but Kendal's weird & wonderful WILD BEASTS can lay claim to just that. Storming into the national consciousness in 2010 when their highly acclaimed second album Two Dancers was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize, the four-piece showed no absolutely signs of creative fatigue earlier this year when they followed it up with the superb Smother (which garnered 9/10 reviews from both the NME and Drowned in Sound).

Packing a sound as layered and textured as it is innately rhythmic and danceable, expect nothing less than a stunning display of atmospherics as the Beasts bring their unique live show to The Copper Rooms in Term 2!
