It started with whispers of a massive new weekly Warwick event. “How’s about it for a Friday night?”, they said, “Chock full of the good stuff. Drinks offers, banging ‘choonz’, guest artists rinsing the soundsystem like a filthy great laundromat…?”

“ - Aaaaaiiiiiigggghhhhttt!”, we hollered, waving one finger in the air and setting to work eager as beavers. Chart hits and RnB thumpers? On it like Sonic. But it didn’t stop there. One room of bona-fide slammers and we were away. We couldn’t help ourselves. It just got bigger and bigger. Dance, house, electro and club mash-ups in Room 1? You’re touching my special place. Indie and alternative faves in Room 2? Mmmm, matron, just a little to the left there…. grrrrr. Hip-hop, funk and soul in The Terrace Bar, urging you to “stay on the scene-ah. Like a sex machine-ah”? I’m going to need a cold shower…

Before we knew it, the entire Union had been jolted into action, unleashing a beast so monstrously awesome that we were simply left cowering in a corner, whimpering to mother. “IT’S ALIIIIIIVVVVEEEE!!!!”, we cried, powerless to stop its fearless charge as it sized us up and devoured us whole, a bit like that marauding T-Rex in Jurassic Park.

O.M.G. is where it’s at on a Friday, offering 4 rooms of big tunes, outlandish visuals, guest DJs and more. It’s about the outrageous, the random and the downright bizarre. It’s about having it out good and proper at the end of the week. In short, it’s a bit dirty… and that’s just the way we like it.

As a special treat at our first event, we'll be letting the legend that is ZANE LOWE loose on the decks as part of his DJ Hero 2 Tour. If you've never seen the Radio 1 alternative guru live in action, trust us when we say you're in for a treat - his sets mash together an array of banging tunes with the ease and skill of a seasoned pro, rinsing the technology as well as any hip-hop DJ.
