WIDS is hosting our annual International Development Summit on the weekend of the 21st to the 23rd of November 2008. The summit will consist of multiple panel discussions, talks and workshops over the course of the three days.

 
WIDS is one of the largest student-led development summits taking place in the UK. We aim to encourage a critical debate among the leading political actors of today and our students to raise awareness of development issues.
 
The theme for this year is “Contributions to Development: Hindrance or Help?” with talk topics including microfinance, technology transfer, monetary aid and volunteerism.
 
The weekend pass includes FREE entrance to: all talks and workshops, the wine reception on Friday, 3-course lunch on Sunday.
