Ladies and Gentlemen of Warwick assemble!

You may or may not be aware, but last term we had a bit of a chinwag with you folks about the state of Saturday night entertainment. It turned out you wanted something different from your Saturday nights, so like some kind of Megazord off Power Rangers we all teamed up and created a new musical beast that had the most excellent name:


SATYOURDAY

You wanted a mashup of the freshest dance sounds being hoofed out of speakers at the coolest nightclubs around, and by jove, that’s what you got. We typed the word ‘cool’ and ‘hip’ into the Word Thesaurus and this research helped us understand what it is that makes a cool night.

Once we had finished trying to understand what was cool - electro and breakbeats, and what was uncool - Nickelback, just Nickelback, so unbelievably uncool, we grabbed hold of the nearest grapevine, and had a listen to what was being said on this all important vine. We found out that there were loads of rather excellent student DJs out there, DJ’s who seemed to possess a rather fine skill at unleashing beastly music upon a salivating crowd.

We saw how awesome Satyourday was, and we saw how much fun you lot were having, so we wanted to bring it back at a time when you would need it most, specifically when you were up to your eyeballs in revision hell.

So, like some kind of Megazord – dunno why I’ve put a Power Rangers reference in twice, I’ve had too may fizzy cola bottles today and it has made me regress – Satyourday is swooping into battle to give exam lameness a damn good thrashing. Revision is all well and good, but you need a day off to let off steam, and Satyourday is a pretty good place to do it.
