STARS of Warwick Awards

The 8th of March saw the first ever STARS of Warwick Awards take place on campus, with over 80 attendees. The STARS of Warwick is Warwick Students’ Union’s take on a national student-led teaching awards initiative, where students can nominate lecturers and other student facing university staff for an award.

The winners in each of the 11 categories were:

A committee of 6 students led on the whole process. They chose the award categories, the timeline, the venue for the event and everything in between – and they were also the ones who shortlisted the nominations and decided our final winners.

We received over 300 nominations from students, which in its first year is a fantastic number, and it just goes to show how much students value the staff that make their university experience what it is.
