National Union of Students

The National Union of Students is a voluntary membership organisation which makes a real difference to the lives of students and its member students' unions. Over 600 Student’s Unions are affiliated to NUS amounting to more than 95 per cent of all higher and further education unions in the UK and represent the interests of more than seven million students.

Being part of the NUS gives you your student discount but also provides Warwick with resources and support throughout the year as well as national campaigns for students from fees and funding to housing and social welfare.

Warwick sends delegates to Nation, Zone and liberation conferences to be part of the national policy making process.

Delegate elections to NUS National Conference and Campaigns Conferences take place during the Autumn Elections period.

After the conferences, all delegates will be required to submit a report, consisting of a brief description of the conference, the major issues discussed, any significant elections (with results), as well as notes on policies passed, with personal notes where appropriate.
