Attend student community reps training afternoon run by Warwick Students’ Union Actively seek out, and feed back, the views of students in your area Regularly liaise with, and represent students in your area to, community groups. Collect basic data, and run a campaign based on your findings/work Act in accordance with Warwick Students’ Union policy Attend weekly meetings of all student community reps (and the Welfare Officer) to discuss common issues, progress, and feed back from community meetings Provide feedback on, and assist in achieving, our Community Strategy
The ability to communicate confidently, by both making points effectively and also listening and being receptive A keennesss to represent those who may not be able to voice their concerns effectively Creativity, with the motivation and passion to both create and run a campaign A real interest in bettering the relationship with students and the wider community An ability to work impartially and confidentially
