Are you fed up with the rising cost of bus fares?

Did you know that bus fares have risen 61% in the last five years? At the same time, your student loan has only increased 13%.

To get a return ticket from Leamington to campus now costs £2.90, up from only £1.80 in 2004. Bus prices are continuing to rise at a time when inflation and fuel costs are both coming down.

At Warwick SU, we feel that enough is enough! It is about time that students, as a low-income group in society, stood up to the bus companies and told them what they really thought about the cost of travel.
