How to Apply

There is a single application form for Access to Learning Fund awards, International Students' Emergency Fund and Childcare Fees Remission awards that can be got from:

When applying, you must provide bank statements covering the last 6 months. Undergraduates should provide a copy of their LEA assessment form. Students in receipt of state benefits should provide evidence of this. You should also provide evidence of any other loans or credit agreements you have and credit card or store card statements. Medical students should provide a copy of their NHS bursary notification.

After you have submitted your application, you will be asked to attend a short interview. A few days after the interview, you will be informed of whether you have been successful or not and how much you have been awarded. The whole process should take less than 2 weeks, but may be longer during busy periods such as the start of the autumn term.
