NUS Extra

Registered students can now buy their cards online

You just need to a credit or debit card and a digital photo of your face. 		Once you order your cardd it will take about a week to be sent to Union Reception and then you can pick it up and start enjoying your discounts.




What is it?

NUS Extra is a national student ID and discount card. Your Warwick Card will get you discounts locally and lets you buy discounted tickets to Warwick events but the NUS Extra card gets you Extra discounts and it is recognised as student ID across the country. It costs just £10.

What Discounts are there?

In your Union
NUS Extra lets you buy a ticket on the door for regular Union events at the advance price.
We will be running regular discounts and offers for NUS Extra card holders.
Term 2 2008

Week 5
Free nutritional boost with any smoothie at Quench
Free hunk of speciality bread with your soup Just £2 (normally£2.65)

Week 6

Free shot of syrup with every coffee
Breakfast bap only £1.00 (usually £1.50)

Week  7



Regular coffe + slice of cake just £2.00 (usually £3.00)
Regular tea + slice of cake just £2.00 (usually £2.30)

Week 8
Small fries with any speciality burger

The card gives you exclusive discounts in the UK including Amazon.co.uk, CD Wow, Ticketmaster, Subway, Topman, Dot Mobile, the AA, NME Freshers tour, BT, Superdrug, Matalan, JJB Sports, Moss, Lonely Planet.com, Office, Lloyds TSB, Camp America, and loads more... International
Your NUS Extra card incorporates the International Student Identity Card (ISIC) which means you get over 37,000 discounts in some 116 countries worldwide (over 1000 in the UK) as well as cheaper travel through the STA Travel branch on campus.

How do I get one?

There will be stalls on Campus throughout Freshers Festival where you can buy a ticket but much better to buy online. You will need a digital photo of your face or a webcam ready as well as a credit or debit card. If you buy your card by Wednesday 19th September it will be ready for you to collect from the Union when you arrive.
