Security

The Security department is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our members and guests to the union during our events. The team is made up of a number of SIA registered Door Supervisors and up to 60 stewards. We also provide security for outside events, and are available for society functions. Please email us for more information.

For enquiries regarding property lost during any previous event please come to see us in the office between 6:30 and 7:00 pm each evening. Any valuable items (Phones, Keys, and University Cards etc) are held reception and can be collected during their opening hours. For collection of items left in the cloakroom please bring your ticket to the cloakroom during an event, else in the office between 6:30 and 7:00 each evening.

There is normally someone available in the Security Office, Union North from 11am daily Monday – Friday for enquiries and for collection of NUS cards that may have been held from a previous event
