Advice and Welfare Services
Advice and Welfare Services is staffed by trained advisors supported by student volunteers. We offer information, advice and representation on a wide range of issues, including housing, money, immigration, academic problems, legal matters, health and employment.
Don’t worry if you are not sure we are the right people to talk to – we are always happy to listen and if we are not able to help we can refer you to other appropriate sources of help either on or off campus.
It is best to make an appointment to see an advisor if you possible can – that way you avoid waiting a long time and the advisor can plan for your visit and give you the time and attention needed to deal with your enquiry.
You can make an appointment to see an advisor by dropping in to our office, or telephone us. All enquiries are treated confidentially.
