Plans for Union North... The new Membership Hub

As part of the ongoing work to increase student engagement with the Union, the area outside the Democratic Services Office (top of the stairs in Union North) is being redeveloped with democracy and the democratic process at its heart. Copies of relevant papers and forms will be available from the area as well as access to the l: drive to browse Union papers, policies etc.

We also plan to use the hub as a polling station during elections and referenda periods. You will, of course, still be able to access support and advice from the Democratic Services Office, but it is hoped that the Hub will hold the information and answers to the most frequently asked questions. The space will be available for informal, non confidential, meetings.

The hub is now up and running but if you have any ideas or thoughts about what should be included, do get in touch as it's your area!
